October Half Term Courses

We are offering something fun and exciting for the kids to do in October Half Term 23rd till the 27th!

At Curve Wake Park, we want to get the young bloods into our amazing sports, this is why we have come up with our October Half term Wakeboarding and Paddleboarding Courses! Our State of the art Watersports Centre is Based in the Heart of Essex near Clacton On Sea in St Osyth! Give them a half term treat they will never forget!


What to Expect

When you arrive at Curve Wake Park you will be greeted by your dedicated host for the day! We want you to have a great time in either your Wakeboarding Course of Paddleboarding Course. Our aim is to let you have the most fun you can possible have on the water. After the FUN on the water we provide a warm toasties, drink and a snack!

Wakeboarding Course – £39

You will be taught by one of our qualified wakeboarding instructors, who will guide you step by step, teaching you the basics of wakeboarding, with a dry land lesson. You will then transfer the skills you have learnt from the dry land lesson into the water. You will get 2 x 15 minute water sessions to practice what you have learnt on the land and transfer those skills to the water! After you have completed wakeboarding we will give you a blast on our ringo! See if you can mange to stay on!

Paddleboarding and Mega SUP Course – £39

At Curve Wake Park we will give you a paddleboarding lesson like no other! Lesson begin with a brief introduction explaining what paddleboarding is and we will demonstrate all the basics before getting out on the water. We will then start with exciting games to test your balance, finishing off with a race around the lake on the MEGA SUP!

When do the Courses Take Place

Our wakeboarding and paddleboarding courses take place in either morning or afternoon sessions, between 23rd / 27th October

Morning Session  – 9.30am – 12.30pm

Afternoon Sessions – 1.30pm – 4.30pm

What equipment do you need?

You will just need to have a towel with you, as well as your swimming custom. We provide all the equipment that you need.

When are we doing Half Term Courses

We are running our half term courses between 23rd and 27th October and are running morning and afternoon sessions from 9.30am/12.30pm and 1.30pm/4.30pm

Do the parents need to stay and watch?

We do need to have either a parent or guardian present while your child is on the water. We do have a cafe on site and a free WI-FI for you to use, and work from if you need.

Is there a Minimum Age?

The minimum age for any watersports at Curve Wake Park is 8yrs. An Adult must accompany and come to sign the waiver.

What is included in the Lunch/Tea?

If you have booked the morning session we would need you to arrive at Curve Wake Park at 9.00am. If you are booked into the afternoon session we need you to arrive at 1.00pm

What is the weather is not great?

We always keep an eye on the weather. When there is a thunderstorm forecast, we unfortunately cant run the cable. We want you to have fun and if we think the weather is no good for your party then we will contact you before hand to let you know. We cant control the weather, But we do wish we could!

What is included in a Lunch/Tea?

The food will be a toasties (either cheese or ham or just ham), they will also get a drink and a snack.
